On 20 November, 2020 the Margaret Thatcher Centre of Georgia hosted the distinguished
participants of the essay competition “Freedom Writers” with the support of the Atlas Network.

The competition was highly competitive with more than 100 submitted essays. The topic of the
competition was dedicated to economic and political freedom, with the goal to support and
popularize the comprehensive analysis of political economy and economic freedom among the
younger population.
The ceremony took place at the “Ambassador Tbilisi” Hotel. The authors of the best essays
were awarded with monetary prizes and gifts.
The winners:

• 1 st Place (GEL 500) – Davit Endeladze
• 2 nd Place (GEL 300) – Elizabeth Tsereteli
• 3 rd Place (GEL 200) – Mariam Kalandadze

The author of remarkable essay Olani Bitsadze was awarded with gift voucher of Biblusi book
store.
